Benefits Analyst

SourcePro Search is conducting  a search for a Benefits Analyst.
Under the direct supervision of the Sr. Manager, Benefits & Retirement, the Benefits Analyst researches, analyzes, evaluates and administers U.S. benefit plans (including health and wellness, life and disability, multiple voluntary programs and assists with qualified and non-qualified retirement plans where necessary) and leaves of absence.

In this capacity, the Benefits Analyst will:  
•  Provide subject-matter expertise support for the administration of US Benefit plans;
•  Offer support for international benefit administration;
• Assist with leaves of absence administration as needed;
• Provide basic support for all Firm retirement plans;
• Respond to benefit inquiries regarding plan provisions, enrollments, status changes, and other general inquiries;
• Serve as liaison with third-party vendors to provide prompt assistance in resolving benefit-related issues;
• Identify and recommend improvements to current processes to ensure that overall performance is aligned with business objectives;
• Assist with the execution of system changes (e.g., testing updates, new configurations), identify reoccurring issues and partner with colleagues to affect solutions; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred);
• At least three years of experience in Benefits Administration and/or Retirement Plan Administration;
• Client/customer-service experience (required);
• Advanced knowledge of customer-service principles;
• Fundamental to Advanced knowledge of benefit and retirement programs;
• Fundamental knowledge of employment/leave of absence/ADA accommodation-related laws and practices;
• Fundamental knowledge of leaves of absence administration;
• Fundamental knowledge of general payroll concepts;
• Fundamental proficiency in Workday (preferred) or other human resource management systems; 
• Fundamental proficiency in payroll systems (e.g.: ADP Vantage);
• Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications is required; and
• Advanced knowledge of related regulations (i.e., COBRA, HIPAA-HITECH, Section 125, qualifying family events, PPACA, ERISA, 401(k), 415).
