Legal Recruiting Coordinator

SourcePro Search has a fantastic opportunity for an up and coming Legal Recruiting Coordinator for our law firm client in their New York office.

What You'll Do:

  • Lateral: work closely with Chief Legal Recruiting Officer and Senior Manager on all aspects of firm-wide lateral recruitment work closely with specific offices/departments to identify needs and determine recruiting strategies;
  • Maintain knowledge of specific markets/industry standards and all searches and document information for each search handle full cycle of recruiting - identify candidates (create summaries for attorney review), schedule/interviews, greet/exit candidates, coordinate with recruiters, collect feedback/prepare files for review, maintain applicant tracking system, invite/pass and offer/no offer process. liaise with recruiters on an ongoing basis;
  • Maintain face-to-face relationships with preferred recruiters collaborate with Marketing Department re: all lateral and on-campus recruitment marketing materials for best internal/external communication/dissemination
  • On-Campus: coordinate and execute various aspects of on-campus recruiting logistics including preparation and execution of all logistics for specific schools maintain scheduling database and candidate files see candidates through full cycle of recruiting attend local recruiting events as necessary 1L recruiting efforts
  • Summer Program: coordinate pre-summer arrival logistics along with all aspects of the Summer Associate Program liaison to Summer Associates and Work Assignment Coordinators as well as all firm departments for Summer Associate related logistics maintain feedback and prepare files for mid-summer and exit reviews
  • Other: complete various surveys/submissions including Chambers, NALP and Vault assist department with additional duties as needed

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 years of law firm recruiting experience
  • Previous experience coordinating recruiting efforts and/or scheduling across multiple offices and practice areas Proficiency in MS Office, knowledge of LawCruit with the ability to learn new software and operating systems
  • Ability to organize, multitask, manage, maintain and prioritize departmental processes/projects, deadlines effectively in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team
  • Must be energetic and enthusiastic with ability to possess a good worth ethic
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, along with good judgment
  • Must be highly motivated, flexible and creative
