
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Patent Docket Clerk to join their Patent Prosecution Group on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to manage patent deadlines and support attorneys in a flexible, hybrid schedule.
What You’ll Do:
Assist the Patent Docket Administrator in maintaining the patent docketing system.
Review and process official communications from the USPTO and foreign agents, updating prosecution records and notifying responsible staff.
Perform global docket reviews, provide reminders of statutory deadlines, distribute docket/client portfolio reports, and manage annuity provider data.
Support attorneys and staff to ensure deadlines are tracked and met.
Complete other duties as assigned to support the Patent Prosecution Group.
What You’ll Bring:
4–6 years of patent docketing experience.
Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved Paralegal certification is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Outlook and Excel.
